Now that FCHC (flourohydrocarbons) are prohibited, cooling is mainly done with ammonia (NH3) and new refrigerants (such as R134a, R143a, A250, and Solkane BHF). In most cases a fixed monitoring system is required

Portable detectors are also required for leak detection
