Repairs

When you send your gas detection equipment to GfG Instrumentation for service, you can be sure that the technician repairing your equipment is the most qualified to do the job. Our repair technicians are highly skilled electronics technicians with years of experience. Their skill levels include an in-depth knowledge of electronics, as well as an understanding of the intricate sensitivity of gas sensors.

Many times we will recommend that the user replace sensors before they expire, based on their age. It is important to note that we do not manufacture the sensors and therefore have no control over their lifetime. Our replacement recommendations follow the guidelines set by the sensor's manufacturer and our experience with them. We select the sensors we use in our instrumentation based on their dependability and long life.

When an instrument is returned to us for repair, the following lead-times should be expected:

Estimates for repair will be faxed to the sender within 48 hours of when we receive the instrument (in most cases).

Our goal is to ship warranty repairs back to the sender within 48 hours of when we receive the instrument (in most cases).

Our goal is to ship all other repairs back to the customer within 72 hours of when we receive approval (in most cases).

All repaired instruments are shipped from our location via ground service unless requested otherwise. Next day delivery is available upon request, for an additional fee.
